| The online Mathematics Tools Practice allows students to practice using the online tools (such as the ruler, protractor or compass) available within TestNav. All tools that are available for any grades 3-8 test are provided within the Grades 3-8 Tools Practice. Likewise, all tools that are available for any EOC test are provided within the End-of-Course Tools Practice. This means that the tools included within each application do not necessarily indicate the tools that will be available for a particular test. To reference the tools available for a particular online mathematics test, see Online Tools Available on the Mathematics SOL Tests (PDF). | Update to the VDOE Mathematics Instructional Resources Web Site - The mathematics instructional resources Web site has a refreshed look. All instructional resources for elementary, middle, and high school mathematics can now be found on one Web page. Resources that were previously available but aligned to the 2001 Mathematics SOL have been archived and placed here (2001 mathematics instructional resources archive). Two resources that were aligned to the 2001 Mathematics SOL remain listed, as they are in the final stages of revision prior to posting: K-5 Number and Number Sense Modules (lesson plans) and the ARI Curriculum Companion (intervention lessons for grades 6-9). Finally, some slight tweaks were made to the Web page containing the table of SOL, Curriculum Frameworks, Testing Blueprints, and other testing and instructional resources.
